Hannah is an Associate Director in the Corporate Compliance and Employment Department. She advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial issues with a focus on employment and transactional matters.
Hannah has extensive experience in employment and immigration law. She regularly assists individuals, local and multinational firms on a variety of topics including matters relating to employee terminations, restraint of trade covenants, employee share option schemes, and employment audits conducted by the Ministry of Manpower and the Central Provident Fund. She manages manpower workstreams for large-scale employment transfers, particularly in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Her work includes advising on the legal implications of such transfers, drafting of relevant documents, and coordinating with stakeholders and regulators to ensure a smooth transition occurs.
Within her corporate practice, Hannah provides comprehensive support across the full spectrum of corporate and transactional matters. She has acted for local and multinational clients on a range of mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Her experience includes advising on deal structuring, drafting and negotiating of transactional documents, and managing legal aspects of cross border deals. Hannah conducts buy-side and sell-side due diligence, identifying potential risks and advising on mitigation strategies to facilitate a smooth and successful transaction. She also assists with post-completion integration and rectification work, ensuring that clients remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition to transactional work, Hannah also advises on entity formation, compliance filings and ongoing obligations under the Companies Act 1967.
